We need your help! We can make a product out of environmentally friendly materials, sell it locally, and endlessly optimize it, but that’s not enough. So much depends on you to make sure the product is used well and properly recycled.
We need your help to make Echo even better! Get involved:
- Use Resources Wisely – bottled water is a convenience, sometimes we need it when we’re on the go, at an event, or in many other circumstances. If you’re near a tap (or better yet a filtered tap) you should avoid drinking bottled water. There’s just no need. When you’re thirsty without a tap in sight, echo is there for you.
- Remove the Cap & Label – after you’ve finished drinking echo its time to prepare the bottle for recycling… remove the cap (including safety ring) and label from the bottle before tossing them all into a recycling bin. The cap and label are made are made out of a different type of plastic that isn’t compatible with the bottle when recycled. If we remove them before recycling we can help the recycling facility by giving them a cleaner stream to work with and less complex sorting to do.
- Always Recycle – your echo bottle can be made into a new one when you recycle, so it’s important to always remember to recycle. There are usually plenty of recycling bins around, but if you don’t have one at work, in the gym or even at home, send us an email and we’ll try to hook you up with the nearest recycling facility: firstname.lastname@example.org
- Buy Recycled Products – when you buy a product that has recycled content, you’re helping ensure that recycling infrastructure keeps growing. The more demand there is for recycled products, the more there will be in the future. That means fewer resources will need to be extracted.
